MSA is proud to mention the following achievements of
Certified Surgical Technologists in Michigan:
Members of OCCC and Wm. Beaumont Hospital Surgical Technology
Program participated in this year's 2007 Summer Stroll for
Epilepsy! This event, sponsored by The Epilepsy Foundation of
Michigan, took place on June 9, 2007 at the Detroit Zoo. Over
$82,000 was raised in the Detroit Area.
The Surgical Technology Students collected pledges from friends
and family members. Rebecca Pieknik, Program Director said that
"student Rene Kovalcheck had Kevin Pieknik's picture copied and
made badges for all of us to wear that said, 'We're walking for
Kevin'."
